Evaluating benefit equity among users of an Employee Assistance Program: Upcoming WorkReach EASNA Re

In the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) field “benefit equity” refers to the equitable distribution of benefits among the different types of employees covered by an assistance program. Benefit equity in outcomes has received little attention by the EAP industry although it could serve as an additional factor for purchasers to take into account when selecting an assistance program.

An article produced by WorkReach soon to be published (2017) in the EASNA Research Notes journal discusses the importance and relevance of evaluating benefit equity in outcomes among users of an EAP in addition to overall effectiveness. The article also reports on findings from a benefit equity evaluation conducted by WorkReach in collaboration with a Canadian EAP vendor. Stay tuned for the publication!
